What can I do as a parent?
Lots! As a parent you have a right to be informed in order to make the best possible choices for your child.  We here at the Brighter Choice Project are forming a parent "army" for the benefit of our children (To learn more about the project itself, click here).  There are many ways in which you, the parent can help further our effort to improve public education in New York State.
How do I get tutoring services for my child?
Each school district has established a process for parents to receive tutoring and other supplemental educational services for their children, if eligible.  The application form issued by the district for parents in the Buffalo city school district is available by clicking here and in the Albany city school district is available by clicking here.  If you would like more information please call Brighter Choice Project at 518-694-5010.
Who do I contact?
We have multiple ways for you to get involved.  You can join our database by filling out a quick form here, or, if you prefer, give one of our existing parent coordinators a call.  Calls in the Albany area should be directed to Sabrina Johnson at 518-694-5010 ext 110 or toll free at 866-694-5010.
